Where Grand Prairie Stadium Is

Grand Prairie Stadium is at 1600 Lone Star Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. It’s an outdoor sports venue with parking, outdoor space, and family-friendly facilities. From 1902 Studios, the stadium is about a 10-minute drive, making it a nearby option for guests planning an event visit.

The venue was formerly AirHogs Stadium. The City of Grand Prairie entered a long-term lease with Major League Cricket (MLC) and American Cricket Enterprises for its redevelopment and use. Work took place during 2021–2022, ahead of MLC’s inaugural season in 2023.

Events, Tickets, and Official Updates

The Texas Super Kings play their home matches at Grand Prairie Stadium. MLC is a professional Twenty20 cricket league, with teams representing Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, Seattle, and New York City. The league’s first match took place at the stadium on July 13, 2023.

Visit Dallas describes the venue as having 7,200 seats, with capacity for up to 15,000 spectators at major events. It also lists concessions, self-parking, and ADA accessibility.

Match schedules and ticket details can vary by event, so check the official site before you go. For a different kind of live show nearby, read the guide to concerts at Texas Trust CU Theatre.

Parking and Getting to the Venue

Parking and Getting to the Venue

On match days, the City of Grand Prairie lists on-site parking at $20, purchased at the venue, and says cash is preferred for faster access. Parking lots open two hours before each game, and tailgating is allowed in the lots. Stadium gates open 60 minutes before the first ball is bowled.

If you’re driving, allow time to park and enter before the match begins. For event-specific transport or access arrangements, confirm the details with the event organizer before setting out.

What to Check Before Event Day

Bag and entry rules affect what you can bring. The city’s listed approved bags are:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12 × 6 × 12 inches.
  • One-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags.
  • Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 × 6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except for a sealed, non-reusable water bottle. You can bring an empty reusable plastic bottle no larger than 30 ounces to refill; metal bottles are not allowed. Only service animals may enter, and outside camping chairs and seat cushions are prohibited.

Flags and banners may be up to 3 feet by 5 feet unless coordinated with stadium management. Flag poles must be hollow PVC pipe without end caps and no longer than 5 feet. Check the current venue rules before packing, since event policies can change.

Making an Overnight Visit in Grand Prairie

A stadium event can be one part of a Grand Prairie stay. If you’re planning more than a match, compare event timing and travel arrangements before choosing what else to include. Keep the stadium’s match-day parking and entry schedule in mind, and verify ticket and venue details for the specific event you plan to attend.
