Where Globe Life Field Is in Arlington
Globe Life Field is at 734 Stadium Drive in Arlington, on a 13-acre site just south of Globe Life Park in Arlington. It serves as the Texas Rangers’ home ballpark and hosts sports and entertainment events. From 1902 Studios, it’s about a 10-minute drive to the stadium.
The Rangers played their first season at Globe Life Field in 2020. It is their third home park since the team moved to Texas for the 1972 season. The official groundbreaking took place on September 28, 2017, and construction finished in less than 30 months.
The ballpark’s retractable roof can open in approximately 12 minutes. Its approximate capacity is 40,300 across seven seating levels.
